Bethesda just has no logical reasoning behind a lot of their choices sometimes. I can find reasons to complain about this game for hours.īethesda personally, I may call Fallout 4 my last Bethesda game personally. and they could of easily made it modular with the new armor piece system so parts of the body with no armor would be insanely more vulnerable but no they decided to stack armor's defense instead. Don't get me started with the insanity that is Bethesda's DR system since Skyrim allowing players to get triple digits on a curve system on DR making the DR system pointlessly complicated when New Vega's straight forward and logical DT system just. Let alone the complete lazy approach to armor in the game. You can make a semi auto weapon do 100-140+ damage per shot, which is insanely broken being able to do triple digit damage so easily which caused Bethesda to balance the game with insanely tanky enemies just to make up for their lack of attempt to keep players from making over powered weapons/gear.
Weapon upgrade system is broken, I mean balance wise. who welds a firearm together? Let alone the Assault Rifle which looks like a World War I Lewis Gun and should be a light machine gun, and they should of actually had a real assault rifle like Fallout 3's R91 which was awesome and personally wish it existed on Fallout 4. 45cal Pistol rounds, and the Rifle itself looks like it's welded together. Let alone some of the most illogical weapon design ever. Fallout 4 balance doesn't exist on the game so the difficulty curve can go from super easy to dead in 1 bullet on Survival Mode.
Heck even their new Survival Mode is rushed and pretty much broken. there is so much in the game that irritates the heck out of me. But I'm struggling to call it my favorite of the Franchise. I've gotten over 400+ hours out of Fallout 4 currently.
